IMA Memorial Education Fund (“MEF”) Grant

IMA MEF exists to award scholarships and other forms of assistance to students; to make educational opportunities available to students interested in accounting or management accounting; to provide for the acquisition and preservation of books, documents, and other objects of historical interest; and to engage in research and grant making for education programs that benefit IMA members. The IMA MEF is governed by a Board of Trustees as specified in its Bylaws.

Each college/university is allowed to apply for this grant to fund one event/initiative, which must be completed prior to June 30, 2025. Examples of events include sending students to the IMA Student Leadership Conference (preferred use), hosting a student night for accounting and finance students, or industry tours to support management accounting curriculum. IMA-endorsed schools can receive up to $5,000; Non-Endorsed schools may receive up to $2,000.
